The Fifth Element Illustrated Chef Knife & Saya

Inspired by the visual world of The Fifth Element, I gave this piece an abstract, future-noir feel, pulling from the film’s saturated color, towering cityscapes, movement, and futuristic atmosphere rather than simply recreating individual scenes.

The artwork carries across the chef knife and handle and continues onto a 9-inch magnetic saya with different artwork on both sides, giving the piece a different visual depending on how it’s displayed. The designs are encased in resin, creating a smooth, protected finish while keeping the artwork vivid.

The knife features an 8-inch Damascus-pattern 440 stainless steel blade and measures 13 inches overall.
